L'unité 3 aide les élèves à répondre aux questions sur le contrôle et la régulation des systèmes nerveux et endocrinien. En rupture avec l'enchaînement traditionnel des sujets, les sens particuliers sont intégrés dans le chapitre sur le système nerveux somatique. Le chapitre sur l'examen neurologique propose aux étudiants une approche unique pour comprendre le fonctionnement du système nerveux à l'aide de cinq tests diagnostiques simples mais puissants.
