- A gestão internacional é uma área crítica para qualquer estudante sério de administração por causa da globalização, o fenômeno mundial pelo qual os países do mundo estão se tornando mais interconectados e onde as barreiras comerciais entre as nações estão desaparecendo. Empresas de todos os tipos não estão mais limitadas a produzir e vender seus produtos e serviços nos mercados domésticos.

- À medida que o mundo dos negócios se torna mais global, os funcionários provavelmente enfrentarão alguém de outro país em algum momento de suas carreiras, as empresas negociarão com empresas de outros países e até mesmo funcionários de empresas nacionais provavelmente encontrarão alguém de outro país.
