Dans l'unité 2, les élèves explorent la peau, le plus grand organe du corps, et examinent les systèmes squelettique et musculaire du corps, en suivant une séquence de sujets traditionnels. Cette unité est la première à présenter aux élèves des systèmes spécifiques du corps et, ce faisant, elle met l'accent sur l'homéostasie ainsi que sur les maladies et affections qui peuvent la perturber.
