- Contextualisme
- le point de vue selon lequel la véracité des attributions de connaissances dépend du contexte.
- Injustice épistémique
- injustice qui découle de problèmes épistémologiques ou qui y est liée.
- pair épistémique
- une personne qui est dans la même position épistémique que vous par rapport à un domaine donné.
- Épistémologie
- le domaine de la philosophie qui se concentre sur les questions relatives à la nature et à l'étendue des connaissances humaines.
- Externalisme
- toute théorie épistémologique qui n'utilise pas uniquement les états mentaux d'un sujet pour déterminer la justification.
- Fondationalisme
- la conviction que toute vérité va de soi ou peut être dérivée d'une vérité qui va de soi.
- Affaire Gettier
- un cas, généralement présenté sous la forme d'un scénario hypothétique, qui constitue un contre-exemple au récit traditionnel selon lequel le savoir est une véritable croyance justifiée.
- Sceptique mondial
- quelqu'un qui rejette la possibilité de connaître en général.
- Injustice herméneutique
- un type d'injustice épistémique qui se produit lorsque le langage et les concepts d'une société ne reflètent pas correctement l'expérience des gens, limitant ainsi la compréhension de leurs expériences.
- Fiabilité historique
- une théorie épistémologique qui propose que les processus qui produisent de manière fiable de vraies croyances confèrent une justification à ces croyances.
- Internalisme
- toute théorie épistémologique qui se concentre uniquement sur l'état mental des sujets pour déterminer la justification.
- Connaissance par connaissance
- connaissances acquises par contact direct avec quelque chose et non par inférence.
- Sceptique local
- quelqu'un qui met en doute la possibilité de connaissances uniquement dans des domaines d'études particuliers.
- Connaissance des procédures
- savoir comment mener à bien une tâche.
- Connaissances propositionnelles
- connaissance de faits qui peuvent être exprimés sous forme de déclarations.
- Scepticisme
- l'idée qu'une partie ou la totalité des connaissances sont impossibles.
- Point de vue épistémologie
- étude de la relation entre le statut social d'un individu et sa position épistémique.
- Déclaration
- Une phrase déclarative qui a une valeur de vérité, c'est-à-dire qu'elle doit être vraie ou fausse.
- Injustice en matière de témoignage
- type d'injustice épistémique qui se produit lorsque les opinions d'individus ou de groupes sont injustement ignorées ou considérées comme peu fiables.
