在过去的1000年中，这座宝塔已经多次重建，现在的塔楼在公元1156年进行了修改，高59米。 从外面看，似乎有13个故事；但是，里面只有七个故事。 作为中国较高的宝塔之一，其布局是一个八角形，代表了八重路径的佛教信仰。 宝塔分为四个部分，外面是厚墙，内环和走廊（7.54）构成内部房间。 宝塔的内部房间是用早期宋代的砖块建造的，即使在十二世纪，也实行回收利用。
高贵的八重道路通向自我觉醒的发现
在外墙和内墙之间有一组蜿蜒的楼梯，通向每层楼和小房间。 七个房间的天花板采用低浮雕雕刻而成，上面装饰着彩绘的花朵、鸟、动物和其他人物，而墙壁上的壁橱则刻有《四十二节经》。 房间里的基座上有 200 多幅砖雕，上面刻有孔雀、鹦鹉、狮子、石榴、莲花和其他正在跳舞或跳跃的人物，表达着充满活力的动作。 一根木杆优雅地从外墙的角落伸到屋檐上，屋檐上有104个铁铃。 从外面看，宝塔呈现出深色和浅色调的和谐景观，为游客提供了地标性建筑，还可以欣赏到周围乡村和河流的景色。
