L'unité 1 fournit aux étudiants une compréhension de base de l'anatomie et de la physiologie humaines, y compris leur langage, les niveaux d'organisation et les bases de la chimie et de la biologie cellulaire. Ces chapitres fournissent une base pour une étude plus approfondie du corps. Ils se concentrent également en particulier sur la façon dont les régions du corps, les produits chimiques importants et les cellules maintiennent l'homéostasie.
