    التعريف: مصطلحات مثل

    لجمع وطرح كثيرات الحدود، اجمع المصطلحات المتشابهة. تحتوي المصطلحات المتشابهة على نفس المتغيرات بنفس الأسس. قد تكون معاملات الشروط مختلفة.

    كن حذرًا عند الطرح لتوزيع الطرح (فكر في الأمر كإضافة\((−1)\) مضروبة في كثير الحدود).
